To become a member of The Institute, simply register and attend one of our classes on the class schedule or complete a webcast or home-study program. Once you have successfully completed the training, you have earned your CAS Designation and you will be a member of The Institute for the balance of the calendar year of receipt of your initial designation.  In order to maintain your CAS designation you must be an active member of The Institute for Auction Learning.  Your renewal fee beyond your first calendar year is $59.00 per year. 

Your membership in the Institute  allows you access to tools to enhance your ongoing business.  You will receive a template for our auction newsletter, The Gavel News, where you will find useful auction information to share with your clients and customers.  You may add to The Gavel News with an article of your own or include a list of upcoming auctions in your area.  This is a major step in branding your business with the auction tool.

 

Members will also be added to our auction email notification list.  We will send you auction listings that may be of interest to you so that you are aware of what is taking place in your area.  This is also a great opportunity to look for buyers that may be in need of representation at auction. 

 

As a member of the Institute you will also have an open door to future CAS courses.  If you want to attend a live session or one of our online courses feel free to do so as our guest (excludes course materials).   If you want a refresher on the auction basics or you just want to learn about techniques that have changed since you received your training this option enables you to work with auctions and use the power of your designation for your business moving forward.   

 

Members of the Institute are listed on our website as Certified Auction Specialists for the world to see.  As consumers search the Internet for information on auction services they will likely find their way to our site and to your personal listing.  If you would like to be added to the site simply provide us with the contact information and photo that you would like to have posted and we'll take care of the rest.
